New Rincon Park Restaurants Open
Two new restaurants recently have opened at Rincon Park. Located at the foot of Folsom Street on The Embarcadero, The Epic Roasthouse and Waterbar restaurants are open to the public. These $20 million finely decorated restaurants provide another Pat Kuleto (Restaurateur) dining destination on San Francisco's waterfront. Visit: Epicroasthouse.com and Waterbarsf.com.
The Piers
The $55 million historic rehabilitation of Piers 1 ½, 3 & 5 (The Piers) was completed this year by San Francisco Waterfront Partners, LLC, a partnership between local developer, Pacific Waterfront Partners, LLC and the California State Teachers' Retirement System. The Piers are comprised of 60,000 square feet of Class A office space, 17,000 square feet of restaurants and retail, and 40,000 square feet of public access - consisting of the Port Walk, Bayside History Walk and the newly completed water taxi landing and free public dock at Pier 1 ½. This public amenity is the first of its kind in San Francisco and will help reconnect San Francisco to its waterfront - ultimately leading to a convenient, environmentally friendly and exciting new transportation system around and across San Francisco Bay.
The Piers are 85 percent leased. Current office tenants include Bloomberg, Renaissance Technologies and Aperture Investments, along with a new restaurant opening this summer, La Mar Cebicheria Peruana, located at Pier 1 ½, featuring an expansive outdoor waterfront dining deck. Additional exciting new restaurants and cafes will be located at Piers 3 and 5.
