IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARADE OF SAIL PASSENGERS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Thank you for participating in the Festival of Sail San Francisco Parade of Sail 2008. We hope you have a wonderful experience aboard these majestic Tall Ships and look forward to seeing you in the Festival of Sail Villages July 24th — 27th.

The Parade of Sail begins at Noon under the Golden Gate Bridge for all spectators. As a passenger onboard one of the participating vessels you will be required to be ready for boarding several hours before this time.

BOARDING PLAN & VESSEL LOCATIONS

All Parade of Sail vessels, with the exception of the Gas Light, will leave from their assigned berths.
All passengers will check-in at the berth where the vessel is assigned at the time noted.
See the Parade of Sail Boarding Plan
for the location of your vessel and the boarding time.

If you are not familiar with the Pier location of your vessel please view our Waterfront Map and allow for sufficient travel time.

BOARDING TIMES

ALL passengers must arrive in the boarding area by the times noted on the Boarding Plan. If boarding begins, and you are not in the boarding area, you will not sail. Additionally you will forfeit the opportunity for that sail and any cost associated with the reservation.

Vessels depart early for the Parade of Sail as they need to rendezvous outside of the Golden Gate Bridge no later than 11:30 am. You will be on the vessel for a few hours before the Parade begins so please dress and plan accordingly. Some vessels will offer light snacks but it is best to bring something familiar to you just in case. Please read the Do's and Don'ts very carefully.

TRANSPORTATION

The Festival of Sail encourages all attendees to take public transportation to, from and around the event. We have partnered with a number of the local transportation agencies and ask you to visit www.511.org in planning your visit to the Festival of Sail, or visit our transportation page here.

PARADE ORDER

Additionally, and for your information, you can view the Festival of Sail Parade Order that provides information on where in the Parade your vessel will be positioned.
